Forbidden to do research on violence due to guns. If ya do the guvment won't fund it. Why does guv not want to know? Why does guv love DUMB?

In my opinion I'm thinking the government (Mainly the FBI, that has most of the gun statistics) don't like anyone prying into it because it exposes their inability to do their job properly. It shows that they dropped the ball on many cases of mass shootings. Had they and other law enforcement agencies done their job (including the recent mass shootings), chances are they could have been prevented. The warning signs were there but were, for the most part, ignored. There are already 2000 gun laws on the books. We don't need more gun laws, we need to enforce the ones we already have. Which brings me back to the FBI and other law enforcement agencies, and, I might add, the school systems and mental health agencies, not doing their job. Banning guns won't stop the violence. Adding new gun laws won't stop the violence. What will help immensely are for the people who are trained to recognize the warning signs, to do their job, and for the people who are trained to prevent this violence, to do their job. I apologize for repeating myself. It's a bad habit of mine and I tend to do that when I try to make a point. :)

I have never seen such Obstruction of Justice committed on the level that the NRA commits.

They have loopholes for anything they need to bypass in the name of money and power.  These creeps should all be lined up and shot.  The whole mess of them.
