    Speaking of the Trojan Horse ... Didja ever wonder why the contrary sayings?

    I know they aren't really related.  But shouldn't you look a Greek gift horse in the mouth, to discover whether there are troops hiding inside?

    Out of sight out of mind. Absence makes the heart grow fonder. Distance lends enchantment. Which izit? Who knows? I do observe such confusing "truisms" and from time to time comment on them. How was that gigantic horse transported? How was it created? What artisans had the skill? Was it carved out of one enormous piece of tree? How long did it take to create? What did it weigh when it was loaded with humans? Surely it couldn't have been done in a week or a month. A year perhaps? Inquiring minds wanna know these things. How long were those soldiers inside the horse before they got out? How was the ventilation? Did any of them die? Did they have toilet facilities? I mean the questions are endless.
