Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Serena Williams is worth $150 million bucks. Her hubby Alexis Ohanian is worth $9 million bucks. Think it's gonna be a problem?
Alexis Ohanian created REDDIT. I paid attention because Ohanian is an Armenian name. I wonder if Serena will learn how to cook Armenian food?. Jim wondered whom he was and what he was worth thinking that Serena probably married a billionaire. I was quite surprised to find out what I did but everything is relative. I mean heck if we were worth $9 million that would provide a pretty cushy life. Anyway I hope they stay married forever and are happy. I like happy endings! Serena won her first match at Indian Wells a couple of days ago which is currently being played in the desert . It last for 2 weeks. After the 4 major tennis tournaments (Australian Open, French Open, Wimbledon, US Open) the MASTERS is next in importance. It consists of ten matches played all over the world. First stop is always Indian Wells, California. Then Florida. Then off to Europe. It gives fans a chance to see their favorite players up close and personal. Thank you for your reply Sharon! :)
I don't know about Alexis but I'm pretty sure Serena has a phalanx of folks guarding her fortune and her. Anyway what would you do with $150 million bucks all at once Shuhak? Unless you buy a gold-plated yacht or the word's largest perfect gems in multiples or rare artifacts? I think I'd cozy up to Alexis. After all we have something in common. I'm Armenian and his dad is Armenian too. I could say "eench bes es" which means "how are you?" in Armenian. Of course he may not speak a word of it and so wouldn't know what I was saying. I could ask how he prepares shish kebab and pilav but maybe his mom never cooked Armenian food. I'm an old dame and maybe he is a gentleman who respects his elders and I could get to him on that level. What do you have going for you specifically that would make him open up to you? Not that I expect you to show your hand. Gotta play it close to the vest and not reveal anything. Thank you for your reply.
