As we move foreward in time our technology becomes ever more grand and sophisticated. However we "humans" are less than we used to be. WHY?

Less than our potential. Every day in every way there is less of us to be proud of and more of us to be ashamed of. What a revoltin' development that is.

Here is an example; I bought a really modern 'rototiller' for my garden several years ago. It works great, works fast, enables me to prepare and maintain a larger, more productive garden. Otherwise, I would have to dig it up by hand, which would destroy my muscles and joints, and leave me depressed AND hungry.

IOW, technology allowed you to be more, not less capable. And smart.

Precisely bh! The technology advances but we don't. Maybe people are not capable of developing beyond a certain point. I'm gonna ask! Thank you for your reply. I'm pretty sure I know what it is. Is it fun to use?  :)

When you say 'humans' and 'we', you are being presumptuous that everyone is becoming 'less'. Count me out, please.

Trump is the prime example of entropy (lack of order or predictability; gradual decline into disorder).

And since we humans are most comfortable with others who possess our same traits, it is not at all surprising that the devolution of such high profile members of our species may engender the extrapolation from the rest of us that we are all going downhill in a race to the bottom.

Fortunately, individuals have the ability to embrace positive change, rather than follow such examples.
