The first time I read this, I took it as a "you all" vs "you" meaning "me." So, I asked my kids what the family would eat. (It's spring break and I'm lucky enough to have the rascals at home.)
Six-Year-Old: Brownies! And Dr. Pepper!
Nine-Year-Old: Brownies! And Coke!
Me: But what if you started to feel really sick because your body wasn't getting the nutrition it needs?
Six-Year-Old: Ok. I would eat blueberries, bananas, apples, and tangerines.
Baked chicken with kielbasa, mac and cheese (homemade), and spinach casserole was one of my kid's favorite meals.......it is now one of my grandkids' favorite meals.
