Is there any profession that one and all could agree upon as being HONORABLE? If so, which and if none exist why?

    Nursing. There have been bad nurses, but on the whole it's an honourable, self-sacrificing profession.

    I agree. In 2008 when I had cancer the surgical nurses that saw me through the operation and the chemo nurses who were with me for six months during chemo/radiation I came to love. You feel so vulnerable and helpless and there they are cheering you on and making you feel you matter. Good choice Sbf! Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday! :)(

    No I don't think so.  You make them as honorable as you are able to.  Which, considering you are working with others and your own selfishness, will never be completely honorable.
