* The first gun buyback program was initiated. Over 600,000 guns were turned in and destroyed. They just got sick and tired of experiencing gun-related massacres and because they were not INSANE they did not keep repeating the same actions expecting different outcomes. THEY CHANGED WHAT THEY WERE DOING! What a brilliant idea! Takes a genius to figger that out I guess and we KNOW that there are no geniuses in the current doofylucy government. SIGH. So we move on to the next gun-related massacre and the next and the next and the next and the next. Why not? What else do we have to occupy our days and our conversation? :(
