     A question just occurred to me Walt which I"m gonna ask next. 7 Billion is a lotta people. Wonder how many there will be eventually? Thank you for your reply and Happy Tuesday.

    Well, in controlled production, the producer has a "lot tolerance percent defective" that he is willing to accept in his product. 

    As Walt O'Reagun suggests, random reproduction with the associated DNA coupling can have some problems.

    Although I did read some years ago that the human race has a built in system that somehow produces spontaneous abortions when the embryo has certain defects.

    On a one-off production you can depend on people doing their very best in all phases of the production.
    With mass-production the work quickly becomes routine and the work tend to be more sloppy. Cars come off the assembly line with not all bolts tightened, etc. This post was edited by JakobA the unAmerican. at March 27, 2018 3:20 AM MDT
