  • Trying to understand my own is perplexing enough.  That is not to say I wouldn't attempt to help friends in their times of trial, but I'm careful not to get consumed/burned by their flames.

    Of course.  That would have nothing to do with it.  If they want me to "understand" their hell they can explain it to me.
