Cruelty to children seems to be a hallmark of this administration. What is more cruel than to separate children from their parents?
Apparently allegedly that is what is happening. Heartless. Cold. Uncaring. All hallmarks of current government. Sad that there is no low too low for them to go isn't it?
1) Let no one in. 2) Let everyone in. 3) Have a system that decides who is genuine and who isn't.
How do you decide who is genuine and who isn't? How can one tell the difference between economic migrants spinning a tale of persecution, and real asylum seekers. Separating families is harsh but it is a way to separate the truly desperate from the pretenders. To me the obvious way to not dirty our hands with such moral excrement is to simply have a hard border and not let asylum seekers in at all.
EVERY decision of government helps some people and harms others. It's impossible to avoid doing harm. The left's endless virtue signalling is disgusting. You are not compassionate. You are acting against the national interest of the U.S.
If you find Trump's methods disgusting, you must offer a functioning alternative. Though the left doesn't want a functioning alternative does it? It wants open borders until western civilisation is overrun by backward, poverty stricken cultures who will vote left.
By the time the left is done with the U.S., refugees will be moving in the opposite direction. My compassion is focused on the kids who have no future because of people like you.
