"The right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness*". "The right of the people to keep and bear arms*. Mutually exclusive?".

*"inalienable rights among which are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" per the Declaration of
   Independence

**"The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed"  The 2nd amendment of The Constitution of the United States of America

Which RIGHT is more RIGHT? How can they be equally right when one cancels out the other? Did the folks who created these documents have any clue how hard it would be to preserve the right to life while concomitantly allowing folks to carry loaded guns, murder others and get away with it? Perhaps they were not as astute as we have given them credit for. We know they were white privilegedmale slave owners who did not allow their women to vote or own property. They gave with one hand and took away with the other. Typical bait and switch of today. Promise big and deliver little or even better nothing at all.

    They are not exclusive.
Right to life, liberty and pursuit of happyness.

A gun can defend life and liberty. Ensuring that one may continue their pursuit of happiness.

A gun can help people make living...also helps with life, liberty and pursuit of happiness.

A gun can take a life....that is not anyone right and is illegal.

You can't understand the difference between the right to life and entitlement to the protection of life.

A right is something that can't be TAKEN without due process of law. Something that the state GIVES you, like protection, is a privilege not a right. People had to work to provide you that service. Your right to receive would be their obligation to provide. That would infringe their right to liberty. It would be slavery.

Protection only exists because brave people are willing to risk their lives for you. You have no right to demand this of them. It's a gift that you should grateful for. Your sense of entitlement is shameful.

The founding fathers built the most prosperous nation in the history of humanity. The left are not fit to lick their boots.
