Discussion»Statements»Rosie's Corner» Got a SMART PHONE? That's how foreign adversaries invade your privacy. Do you know what your apps allow access to? For whom?
It's a type of cell phone to which you download lots of apps (applications) attached to the internet. I don't have one but Jim does though he only uses it for simple things. Here's what I just read. It is through those apps that hostile foreign hackers can hack into your private information. Unless you know what those apps allow access to you are vulnerable. Your mailing list is vulnerable. If you do any financial stuff via internet it is vulnerable. Smart phones are the path to accessing private info. The example given was that when you use your phone you use it via some kind of tower that bounces signals around. It is those bouncing signals that allow access by hackers and once in they can do a lot of damage. For what it's worth. Hope I answered your question. I'm not a techie so how it works I don't have a clue Ele.

i don’t really have much to hide. i Guess they’ll see my nudes, in which case i feel bad for them.
really though i try not to download anything that allows third party access to my data, and the apps i do have i deny access. im even thinking about deleting facebook after all these privacy shenanigans
