The reason why someone wants to be an owner is so they don't have to have a boss or a supervisor.

I think the reason someone might want to be a boss or supervisor is because they're just control freaks.  They obviously get something out of making stupid rules, using buzzwords instead of English and covering every space in the office or breakroom with silly motivational posters so they're the reason why someone would want to be an owner.

Being the dictator is something a lot of daydreamers daydream about and for them, yeah, punishing their enemies, or just sending the National Secret Police to raid the offices of a website that suspended their account, is probably exactly what they're daydreaming about, lol!

Or maybe they just think their portrait would look good on the side of every building or they just want to rock the dictator uniform and the mirrored sunglasses!

That is a  WAY COOL graphic Liv. It's the beard that does it! I never wanted to be a supervisor/boss and turned down  a couple of promotions because of it. I have no desire to control other people or be responsible for them and have to endure/broker/fix their petty fights, bad manners and lousy work habits. Not my cuppa tea. But I think being in control of others and making them jump through hoops turns some folks on big time. It makes them feel important, powerful, necessary. They lack self-esteem and confidence and need to be authoritative. Thank you for your thoughtful reply and Happy Friday m'dear! :)

  • While I may not punish those who have established themselves as "enemies", I wouldn't reward or encourage them either.
