The numbering system would have to be whatever it was when that book was written and the language was Greek. Is the Greek alphabet letter value the same as the English alphabet letter value? I don't know but I don't think so. BUT...and this is very important in the context of today. Evil and schemes and grabbing for power existed then in churches as it does now and in politics it goes hand in hand. Nothing has changed. No improvement. No progress.
