How was the world ever convinced that life in its current diminitive form is the natural state of Earth?

    Based on the wide litany of human beliefs, it is spurious to claim that ”the world” is singularly convinced of anything.

    It is a principal of evolution: things are the same now as they have always been. Only very very slow changes can be considered. So when the ancient Egyptians recorded that the Earth had two suns before the one we have now, and one of them was green, everybody supposed that ancient Egyptians were too f**king stupid to breathe because we know very well that we have a yellow sun so therefore we have always had a yellow sun.
