If you call something a witch hunt shouldn't you have proof that there are such things as witches? Otherwise wouldn't you call it a "wild goose chase" because of course we do know for sure there are some geese that are very wild. But a witch? Which witch? The one with the twitch? An itch? The bit** in the ditch? A glitch? Where's the hitch? More niche kitsch? With a pitch? The one who is rich? Not wearing a stitch? The one with the zits? Gotta be specific and tell is which witch is which. So that we know which witch it isn't and can figure out which witch it is! :) Then and only then do we go on the hunt. First things first.
