I am currently listening to the Senate investigation of Mike Pompeo for his nomination as Secretary of Stete. He sounds thuglike,confrontational,adversarial and defensive. Not good qualities in any government head but surely anathema for our Secretary of State. It is sad. Once again if this guy is confirmed the wrong person will have been chosen for purely political reasons and not for good commonsense reason itself. How long will he last if confirmed and what damage will he do while there? :(
