The fact that the donjohn sought being prez even if he didn't expect to win is mind-boggling isn't it?

The donjohn has so much to hide on so many levels and a lot of it has already been uncovered with much more to come. He thought he could get away with all of it which is perplexing. We know his base buys whatever he chooses to sell to them but they are not the only game in town. You can fool some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time but you cannot fool FBI investigators any of the time and thinking so proves the shallowness of the so-called"thought process". Pride goeth before the fall? Stupid dumb accelerates it. It is always helpful to have someone who thinks he can outsmart anyone be in the crosshairs/on the hotseat. Arrogance goeth before the fall too. Pride/arrogance combined? Priceless! :)

  • There were one Hell of a lot of people who ran for president with the understanding that their chances for success were slim to none for a variety of reasons. That was proven to be true with the passing of time. Did that mean that people out there didn't support or want that candidacy? Did it mean that the candidate had no right to run? For every election there is an also ran. In every election there is a party, a voting bloc, advocacy group, special interests, or a segment of society that gets disappointed because they came up short in a vote count. I find your premise both "mind boggling" and astonishingly smug. It seems to me that beneath your incessant and relentless attacks on the POTUS is the desire to control the process, predetermine the outcome, and if there's a slip up in the script, overturn the results. There are  millions of us "deplorables" out here that know how to set "pride" on it's ear as we did with the obnoxious HRC. While her opponent didn't expect to win, she expected to be presented with the presidency as a God given birthright. There's a big difference in recognizing the possibility of losing an election and the pompous presumption that we the people wouldn't dare get in the way of what's rightfully hers. Now THAT'S pride before destruction.

He did expect to win. Melania expected him to win. She is on record as telling him when he was still deciding if he wanted to run....telling him "if you run, you will win".

I said from Feb 2016...that he would win. I said in Nov he would win. When in the polls they are calling some of the "blue wall" states as toss ups...you know the Dem is in trouble. Just as if Tex is ever a toss up then you know the Rep is gonna have a bad night.
