    I dread flying because of stuff like what happened on Malaysia Airlines flight 370 :(

    I've been afraid of it since before I ever flew.  I have had to fly quite a bit and I hate everything about it, including packing for it.  It simply sucks!  I like car trips but some destinations are just not accessible by car.  I have a few more overseas trips which I have put off because I don't want to leave the USA right now.  I have enjoyed driving all of the country though.  I'm going to do some more of it.  We're going up to Pennsylvania soon and spend a month or so.

  • It certainly doesn't help. I don't have a major fear of flying, but things like that do enter my mind when I'm on a plane.

    I feel safe on a larger plane.  In a smaller one i feel like I'm falling.  If you think about how many planes fly every day, flying seems very safe.
