Indeed. Unfortunately, the younger folks don't ask us for some of that knowledge.

Our sons are all in their 50's Ele. We wait to be asked for our advice and then we tell them what we think. Do they make mistakes? Sure but they're all really good men and smart and have done pretty well for themselves. One of them keeps getting really bad breaks health-wise but he deals with it like a true champion. SIGH. We wish we could relieve some of his burden but, well, we're impotent to do so. Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

Yes, absolutely... unfortunately there are a lot of downsides too... like being too cautious because you know all the pitfalls and dangers...

In my case Addb I've gotten a lot more daring/braver/outspoken. I have always said what I think but not nearly as often or among a bunch of people whom I shall never meet. I figger where's the danger? I'm retired so I can't be fired. Our kids are adults and out on their own and doing well so we have no worries there. So far so good healthwise so few to no worries there.  Getting older kinda gives you armor you don't have when you're younger. Or at least I didn't develop mine till I was in my 60's! Actually I remember when I turned 50 I decided to stop trying to please my mom. It freed me a lot and it just grew from there. At 80 I am the bravest I have ever been but I still have a fear of heights! Go figger! Thank you for your reply! :)
