Everyone is angry about something or someone. Old as the hills. Ain't new. Ain't special. Ain't creative. Old hat. Whining moaning groaning kvetching mulish complaining spoiled brat angry. But it is NEVER their fault. It is always the fault of others. No one ever takes any responsibility for any angry. WHY?

The Howard Beal rant in network is one of the best scenes is movie history. Anyone who isn't angry isn't paying attention. Sometimes I do get sick of the angst, especially if they're directing their anger in the wrong place, though at least they have some fight left in them. At least the spirit of liberty hasn't been extinguished.

What irritates me far more is the opposite. I can't stand the hoards of passive sheep who just meekly submit to the status quo. People who have no anger have surrendered. To protect their ego from the truth of their cowardice, they pretend they're just being zen. They're not zen, they're just weak.

As for the lack of personal responsibility in society, that's something the right has been furious about for decades. Do I take personal responsibility for the lack of personal responsibility in society? No. I can only be responsible for things within my power. I take responsibility for my own behaviour. I can't be responsible for the choices of others. This post was edited by Zeitgeist at May 3, 2018 2:29 PM MDT
