Why does money make people think they are important Rosie.....
Why does money make either gender think they are gods gift to society......

Wealth means only that you can buy anything and live a very shallow life.....

With wealth you also need wisdom and know how to cope with it so as not to offend those not so privileged .....

Why do soppy sports people or film stars think so much of themselves ....You can't get Nice from Money ....nomatter how many times you rearrange the letters....:(

I'll tell ya why sweetie. Because people bow down to it, roll over for it, grovel for it, lie for it, humiliate themselves for it. It is the reaction of the non-wealthy that causes the wealthy to think they are HOT STUFF. The wealthy are used to people sucking up to them and praising them and worshipping them so of course they get all full of themselves. It's a tidy little cancerous bundle of wealthy and those who feed off them. A symbiotic relationship. Now some of the very wealthy give back in enormously helpful ways. They see the money they have as instruments or weapons to fight off poverty and disease and illiteracy. But most wealthy folks are CONSUMERS and want more and more and more and more. They lie, cheat, steal, betray if there's a buck in it for them. Theyre the ones who benefitted from the tax cuts. I don't know how many folks there are like that but I suspect there are MILLIONS of them. They voted for the john of don after all. SIGH. Thank you for your thoughtful reply D. Money rules. Money talks. Money is God to many though they won't admit it. This post was edited by RosieG at May 7, 2018 3:10 AM MDT

They are like it because others less well off try to emulate them as much as their money will let them....:(

I don't relate to copycats. Never understood them. Riding on the coattails of others has never been my cuppa tea and I think imitation is not the sincerest form of flattery. It is what lazy people who have nothing to contribute of their own do. Thank you for your reply D! :)
