I expect if something were VERY IMPORTANT to you that you would speak up about it despite ridicule/insult/attacks targeting you. Right?

Melania is getting attacked for speaking up about cyber bullying especially with regard to how it affects dhildren. Some folks are attacking her for it. How dare she speak up about what her crappy hubby is most guilty of? Why shouldn't she say what she thinks? She isn't responsible for him. Or do you blame a spouse for having a rotten spouse? Why?

    Speaking out about the negative characteristic of cyberbullying in others when your husband, the president of the United States, is a blatant bully lends itself to being call hypocritical.  She claims to want the best for children, but her husband removed funding for CHIP, a program designed to help children's health.  The brochure she offers on the web page was plagiarized from an Obama Era brochure (see below).  She comes across as a phony baloney.  I don't think she gives a rat's butt about U.S. kids - only her own.  What kind of slogan is "Be Best?"  It's the one Trump suggested. 

    "Melania’s initiative, Be Best, which launched on Monday, has a page on the official White House website that said near the bottom: “Parents, click here to read Talking with Kids about Being Online, a booklet by First Lady Melania Trump and the Federal Trade Commission.”

    Later, in an apparent damage limitation exercise following a backlash on social media, the website’s language was updated to describe the pamphlet as “a Federal Trade Commission booklet, promoted by First Lady Melania Trump”.

    A White House official confirmed that the wording on the website had been changed, offering an explanation that “there seemed to be confusion so we wanted to be clear”."

    I see it quite differently L. Here's why. I believe she detests her husband and this is her way of attacking him. He is doing everything he can to undermine her. I think she, more than anyone else, knows what an evil bas**rd he is. How could she not? She is trying her best to establish herself as separate from him. She chose this specifically BECAUSE he is what he is. Now do I KNOW that for a fact? No but I am guessing that is the why. She could choose to stay in background and not be seen or heard at all. She is coming out and talking about what is important to her and she has acknowledged that she will probably be attacked for it by some. I am not among the attackers. I would prefer that she just take her son and leave the bas**rd NOW but I know there was prenup and I don't know what it involved. I doubt that she would make herself a tafret like this if she didn't give a rat's a** about it but she does and so she is willing to take the heat and the ridicule and the denigration and the insults. I think that is quite brave. Thank you for your reply! :)
