    Fingerprints are one facet of a person's phenotype, so yes...plus or minus environmental variables.

    I  sincerely doubt it, but then again, I don't know enough about either fingerprints or DNA to be entirely sure.

  • Interesting question and one I've never thought about ... If it was wouldn't this indicate that identical twins also share the same finget print maybe?

    Fingerprints are formed in the womb and are influenced by the baby's movements and growth, so even identical twins have unique fingerprints.
