THIS IS A SHOCKER! Jeb's son has endorsed Donald J. Trump..allegedly because he wants to be Governor of Texas.If true, isn't that a betrayal of his entire family? Where is his honor/integrity/loyalty?

It is politics. They don't take it seriously. Especially establishment politicians they know how the game is played. They call each other the worst names in the world then go out to dinner.

The Bushes consider Bill Clinton as another son.

I know that GWBush and Clinton worked together on projects during The Bush administration because he directed them to or asked them to do so and they got along famously and I think the Clintons even visited the Bush family in Maine. I'm all for that! I think it's nifty. They don't like each other's politics but they like each other's company! It's just that Trump really caused Jeb to lose what might well have been his GOP candidacy. In fact I think I asked you that question and you agreed that was probably true. So for Jeb's son to endorse Trump seemed a betrayal to me.  But I think you're right. They don't take it as seriously as we do. Go figger! Thank you for your reply m2c! :)

Yes Trump took Jeb's nomination...no question. Who is Jeb supposed to endorse? Hillary? Legal weed Johnson, or Stien?

 I think he shouldda kept his mouth shut, said nothing and just voted his conscience. Why announce and possibly alienate some folks unless he thought it would be helpful to him? I mean it is supposed to be a SECRET ballot for goodness sakes m2c! Why make such a big deal out of it? It's like religion. It's personal and private and no one's business. It  is between you and God and I don't think anyone ought to use it to make  points  or exploit it. I think we had this disucussion before. I kinda think you agree. Well I think for whom you vote is your business. And exploiting it for your own reasons diminishes it. Now of course on an internet social site such as this if we didn't discuss our views  we would never learn anything about anyone. But you know what we say here and what do in the voting booth could be different . We will  never know that either and that's the way it  should be. Private is private. Why do you look for integrity, honor and loyalty among politicians? Politicians get into bed with each other for a variety of reasons. Remember, there is no honor among thieves.

Because I am a hopelessly naive human being Polk. Also because I know there are human beings out there who are honorable, loyal and embody integrity. I just wonder why none of them seem to gravitate  to politics. I will ask that question. Perhaps you might answer it?  Thank you for your reply! :)
