There was a long period in history when horses would have been the clear choice, for their ability to carry us  in battle and tow our goods and pull a plow.
Now I will say it’s bees. They pollinate our food crops and countless plant species intrinsic to the survival of many animals. The decline of bee populations has imperiled our world more than most people are aware.

I have read about the decline in bee population. Is the cause still unknown? Thank you for your informative reply DonB and Happy Sunday to thee.
