Every time you grasp at a straw you sink a little bit downer. Eventually you drown. If you can't swim why not get out of the water?

I've never known anyone that could learn to swim on dry land. That goes literally and figuratively for swimming and all other fields of endeavor. Life is full of risks. You either dive in or sit on the sidelines.
