There are three forces at work in the world. God's will, Satan's will and man's will. If you want to give the devil a pass and take credit for his blueprints and handiwork, by all means be my guest. The outcome is still the same. In giving the devil "his due", factor into the equation that man blames both God and the devil for his own willful and stubborn foolishness.
Satan is a very powerful being, but his power is limited. He doesn't have the power (ability) to make (force) a person do something against their will. We like to think he can ("the devil made me do it"), but he can't. What he can do is lie... and he's really good at it. If you wanted to take someone down, how would you do it? You'd find their weak point. Our weakest point is our ego. Satan knows this and that's where he strikes. Since he can't force us to do anything, he strokes our egos with flattery and lies; not abruptly, but subtly. Before long he has us eating out of the palm of his vile hand. But that's just the first brick. We then tell others to join in our evil deeds (through persuasion or force). Might makes right. "I" rules (self). If you want something just take it; it's your right. Kill that which disagrees with you. Eat, drink and be merry. !! And on it goes. Satan just rubs his hands together with glee. He's got us - and he never had to lay one finger on us to do it. We CHOSE his way!
Very thoughtful and convincing argument m'dear. In the Satanic world I wonder where a don juan Trump fits in? Would he be a prized student? Would Satan make him second banana? The sad thing is there seem to be lotsa folks who value Satan over God. They sometimes wear crosses and read Bibles and attend church but that tip of the iceberg is just window dressing. Their real selves delight in ugly/hate/vitriol/destruction. They beg for Satan to take them under his wing. They rejoice when evil wins and despair when evil goes down for the count. Were they born that way I cannot say. Were they trained way? I don't know. Why do you like broccoli or Brahms or butterscotch? Why are we wired as we are and can we rewire ourselves? It is shocking and appalling to me how many millions of don juan worshippers support him no matter what. Minions of the devil? There are some folks who are easily hypnotized. Don juan worshipprs are ripe for the picking. There are some people who cannot be hypnotized. I'm one of them. Tried it and never was able to relax enough to be "put under". I was told that subconsciously I don't want anyone to control me so I fight it at that level. It's a mystery. Also a national nightmare. Will we awaken from it before it's too late? I don't know the answer to that either. I hope GOD wins Shuhak. I'm pulling for HIM.Thank you for your thoughtful reply .
