After careful consideration, I'd have to say that I use them to draw people in.  It's not my intention, believe me!  I'm definitely NOT what you'd call a people person.  How strange is that?  Wanting to push people away, yet at the same time drawing them in.  Due to certain inhibitions, I have a difficult time speaking around most people.  That tends to push people away.  However, I can write.  Through my writing I tend to draw people in.  The best of both worlds?
Words are powerful, and when we use them we must be very careful.  Words can be easily misconstrued. One wrong word can undo many right ones.  Finding the right words to use this takes time and careful consideration.  Simply using whatever words that pop into one's head isn't always the wisest thing to do.

I'm kinda like that Shuhak. I was PAINFULLY SHY as a child. Introvert. Loner. When one is shy there is no other choice. I am not a joiner. I don't like large crowds. Words have always been my friend. That is the one thing I am confident about. My ability to express myself. I am rarely tongue-tied though there are times it's not worth the effort so I conserve my energy and passion and just pass on it. Words. So many from which to choose. And of course my enormously curious brain which is why I never run out of questions to ask. At least not so far. Receiving replies to my questions is often satisfying and sometimes magnificently enlightening so I stick around because you can't know which is which unless you ask. Learning is my carrot. If you don't know ya gotta ask. So I ask because more and more I know how little I know. The clock is ticking. Time waits for no one and it keeps moving forward. I'll probably be asking questions as I lay dying one day. Die with my boots on so to speak. Thank you for your thoughtful reply Shuhak! :)
