Those of you who live in or spend long periods of time in California, do you remember when there was no drought?
Thinking back, I believe it's been more than seven years since drought conditions started, maybe as long as ten years. Perhaps your memory serves you better than mine does me.
There was a state wide drought in the mid 70s and another in the late 80s. At least one more before both. Methink the thinking and songs "It never rains in California" were written during drought conditions and true for those times but generally false.
