Is RACISM being normalized worldwide or only in the United States of America? Will it ever go back UNDER the rocks where is belongs?

    Seems to me racism was FAR more “normalized” in the 18th and 19th centuries than it is now. Unless we have forgotten, never learned about, or worse deny Black Slavery, Jim Crow, Dredd Scott, the genocide of Native Americans, the Trail of Tears, or the systemic oppression of Chinese railroad workers that was the modus operandi of those dark times.

    Racism appears amply in the Bible, in the Koran, and in the writings of the ancient Greeks. So, NO, racism is not “being” normalized, it has been a norm since the first group of Homo Sapiens met the second group. This post was edited by Don Barzini at June 3, 2018 11:29 AM MDT
