I think I know why some folks despise/avoid logic. When logc is employed properly the conclusion is at odds with their beliefs! Right?

So what the he** are they supposed to do? Change to their beliefs to fit the logical or avoid it altogether? I mean c'mon. They are only human, right? Perhaps a different type but human nevertheless. Why use something you know won't serve you well? Just ignore/avoid it and ya got no problem!
