Don’t know about all that, but Trump the Grump was clearly in a snit that the other leaders didn’t kiss his a.. er, ring... or prostrate themselves before him.
Maybe POTUS was just pouting more than usual because Ms Merkel (a woman!) stood up to his face and Macron crushed Trump’s little pink hand again.

A few weeks ago don juan was all touchy feeley with Macron. They couldn't keep their hands off each other. Of course Macron was clearly playing the old man who is old enough to be Daddy to both Trudeau and Macron and don is certainly not nearly as dashing and appealing...and I think even with his enormous ego (that covers up his even more enormous lack of self-esteem) he recognizes that. So here we are today. He purposefully attacks/alienates/insults our allies. He is a very staunch supporter of Putin. He called Kim "an honorable man" awhile back. He constantly voices his admiration of the dictator despot leaders and congratulates them and compliments for their good leadership. He is very vocal about embracing hostile foreign powers. He is doing precisely what Putin KNEW he would do. Roll over and be an obedient obsequious water carrying lapdog puppet (mixed metaphors..sorry) He constantly badmouths the US, the government, the Justice Department, his predecessors and anyone who doesn't kiss his corpulent arse. Can you figure out why Don? I think he is definitely a wackadoodle. I keep thinking of a movie I saw. "The Madness of Kind George". How many leaders were wackadoodles? Yes don juan despises strong intelligent women. He clearly values them only for his sexual pleasure despite his saying elsewise and otherwise. Today is Monday. Tomorrow is the BIG DAY. Any thoughts about how it will all go down? Thank you for your reply! :)

I respond not yet having heard any reports of events in Singapore, but I predict the Little Rocket Man and the Dotard will greet and smile like long lost brothers, accomplish little or nothing of significance (does anyone really think Kim will give up his nukes?), Kim will get his big moment on the world stage, and Pres Caligula will make it all about himself and tweetstorm how his Nobel should soon be delivered to Trump Tower. (It won’t be)
Then the Pres will return to the WH, muster up His fake courage and slander his newest old friend Rocket Man again. The more things change the more they stay the same.

Very PRESCIENT of thee DonB. Sounds EXACTLY like what COULD happen. Very logical based upon past actions/words. UNLESS the debacle at the G7 is a portent of what to expect in Singapore. The don left Canada loaded for bear. If, as it is being insisted, Trudeau stabbed don in the back I wonder what they will accuse Kim of doing? Whatever happens there Kim has already won. He holds the stronger hand. He traveled a much shorter distance. He is in his element. It will be VERRRRRRY INTERESTING. Tune in. Stayed tuned. Stay plugged in.
