Anyone watch The Tony Awards? Just saw a clip of the PARKLAND STUDENTS performing a number. Standing ovation. Didja see it?

The Tony Awards are to the theater what the Emmy Awards are to the movies. It honors the best and brightest performers on stage. I gather you aren't that interested in the Arts then nor is your wife? It happens that some folks enjoy movies, theater, the arts. So like everything else they have ceremonies and votes and celebrations. It is no different than any team in sports. They compete to see who is best and then get awards. Same thing with the Olympics only it is a competition among countries. Same thing with a Pulitzer Prize for journalism. Same thing with a Nobel Prize for anything. I found the Parkland Students to be very inspiring and very good as well. It is too bad you missed it although most likely you might not have been as moved by it as I was. Thank you for your response Ele and Happy Tuesday! :)
