Kim Jung un has lifelong experience in Politics. He was born into it. The US prez is a newbie. Whom do YOU think holds the upper hand?

The experienced expert or the newbie who doesn't read, doesn't listen, has no desire to swap his ignorance for knowledge? Kim was taught by a Swiss teacher who said Kim was a good student. Not extraordinary. But good. And he knows how to speak English. The teacher said Kim had to learn. Kim has had years to learn about America. How long has the American prez had to learn about North Korea? I think in politics experience counts.  Knowing counts. Planning counts. Preparing counts. Reading counts. Listening counts. Doing/saying on the fly by the seat of one's pants? Dicey. Nothing there to count on but loose cannon.

LOL. Being a dictator is not "experience in politics". There is no politics in North Korea. There is obedience, the gulag or death.

Trump is a far more experienced negotiator and he is in a stronger position. He has the upper hand for sure. This post was edited by Zeitgeist at June 11, 2018 12:45 PM MDT

The "newbie" has gotten farther than anyone else so far.

  • North Korea has been a family affair since 1948. If the little despot hasn't learned anything in that length of time, he never will. He should have been an expert in tyranny since the age of three. I think that it helps to be born into a system that is already operating before you were thought of. The POTUS will hold the winning hand if he proceeds to put the little dictator in his place. The problem is, he won't. That should thrill the left.
