What pol has ever put the good of the people ahead of self-interest? If someone tried how long would he/she survive before the rest of them attacked and destroyed? Whatever they say is often excused by saying they misspoke, were misunderstood, were the victims of the media, they were joking or being sarcastic. Slippery little devils aren't they? Always an excuse for being the abysmal folks they are. Never their fault. Always someone else at fault. Never them . Ever.
