  • If you voted for something you knew nothing about, then you deserve what you get.

Trump has been sniffing around the neighborhood. For someone like him, this is a good thing because he benefits and thrives on chaos and financial upheaval.

    You may be neighbors :)

Ignorance is mostly at fault for most of the problems in the world.

They may have been the voters who didn't bother to vote. Or perhaps they were actually trying to see what the rest of the world believes will be the result of the vote.

Why are you surprised by this?

On the eve of the US invasion/occupation of Iraq, an enormous majority of Americans thought Saddam Hussein was responsible for the 9/11 attacks.

Even today, large majorities of the American political right think President Obama is a Muslim.

I think the evidence suggests ignorance is the default, not the exception, in many cultures/political systems.

No. They were voters  who VOTED and after the vote when they saw the resulting chaos they looked up what the EU was! That is the report I read which is shocking as he**. Thank you for your reply m2c and Happy Thursday to thee.

Here is the difference OS. A VERY glaring difference. The American people were fed misinformation about  Saddam. The partisan political delusional folks who believe that Obama is Muslin, not an American and tries to help terrorists are batsh** crazy!. They are delusional/emotional/woefully ignorant. The voters who looked up what the EU was AFTER they voted to leave because of the chaos that resulted didn't even know what the he** they were voting for. They didn't know diddly but they voted anyway. The misled Americans reacted to the misleading information. Delusionally emotionally  out-of-control people are not responsible for believing all the tin foil conspiracies out there. They are mentally dysfunctional. The folks who voted to leave the EU without knowing what they were voting for I presume were not delusional. I'd like to know WHY they voted as they did not knowing a dam* thing about the European Union. Wouldn't you? Mahalo for your reply and Happy Thursday!   :)

I doubt it. He lives in a palatial penthouse in NewYork and a palatial mansion in Florida called Mar a logo (sp?) and also has various homes around the world and his own private jet and zillions of golf courses with beautiful suites. . None of which would be located in Hemet, California GJ. Thank you for your reply and Happy Thursday!   :)

Thank you, Rosie for bringing up a most excellent point.  Being that this fact of yours is valid, shouldn't the voting process include an appropriate error margin in the final talley?

If we have a voter pool of say 1/3 of a billion?  Shouldn't the final count not be valid unless it reaches say 110-115 percent, to allow for the dolts who have no clue what the issues even are?

Especially when the final decision was based on maybe a count of one extra million voters.  That was what the decision was based on; one extra million voters, who decided in favor of destroying the world economy.

Those who thought Saddam was at fault were fed misinformation. Those who think Obama is Muslim, not a citizen and supports terrorism are batsh** crazy and belong to the tin foil brigade. The voters  who voted to leave the EU without knowing what it is they were voting for were stupid and lazy. They voted, saw the resulting chaos and then wanted to find out what it was they had done. A**-backwards. Mahalo for your reply OS :)
