    Wow, I'm sorry to hear that.
    It's especially hard when you love someone so much and they turn out to be shady.
    I wouldn't want anyone to have to go through it.
    It really does make you stronger and you learn to only give trust to people who earn it.

    Yes.  Her name was Rachel and I babysat her for about a month.  She was 5 or 6 years old and every other word out of her mouth was "why?"

    It's a pretty good habit. I once had a poster in my classroom. It said "Scientists don't have all the answers...we just have the best questions." No reference needed. I wrote it.

  • I was a supervisor for eight years and one of the things they told me, when I started was ....
    "a supervisor doesn't need to know all the answers, he just needs to know where to find them."

    In regards to "It's a pretty good habit" ... it can also be a spoiled brat's biggest weapon. :)
