Some of them may NEVER be reunited with their parents. What happens to them? Is a there a trash bin or orphanage or Foster Care (Foster parents get PAID to take care of kids, right?) where they are placde? Any of them become homeless or have to turn tricks to survive? Does anyone anywhere have a good hold on it or will some of the kids just "fall through the cracks" and remain forever unaccounted for? I know. Casualties of war in a way. Only it seems very sad to me that innocent children's lives are forever ruined because the grownups couldn't figure out what to do or how to do it right or well. Collateral damage. It happens.
