I have some nasty surgical scars on my neck. As a 5 year old child, I was being injected with dye for x-rays. In those days, they had to expose the jugular veins to do this injection. Problem is ------- they did not 'put me under' properly and I felt the pain of having my throat slashed open by the doctor. That's pain.
