The goal in The Manchurian Candidate was to put a dupe who had been brainwashed/hypnotized in the White House and control him from China by the Communists. Very scary movie. Could that actually ever happen in America? Could a doofus dupe become president and be controlled by a foreign country?
If it's Russia, they've made a genuine mess of it because if they've tried manipulating this election, it has backfired tremendously. Surely, the Russians understand who the real power brokers are over here. For the sake of argument, if they have meddled, they've made Clinton president and to what end? Maybe Putin knows a lot more than we do, who knows. A tantalizing thought here. Suppose the Manchurian Candidate is not an outside conspiracy, but an inside job with Trump as a "Trojan Horse" to insure another Clinton presidency. Sounds wild, but this is an insane year and things have really broken down in our process.
I've heard that theory floated as well Polk and It isn't all that harebrained. Consider this. If Trump (supposedly has an IQ of 156, 140 being genus) is really that smart could he have sabotaged himself any more surely than if he followed a plan/script/agenda? I don't think so. Either he is really unsmart beyond belief or he is smart like a fox. He is and has been his own worst enemy. He pays people to advise him and then completely ignores the advice. How smart is that?
