The language of extremism.. perhaps it has become now so overused that we now cannot see middle ground and good enough.. There's a lot of stuff in child psychology/child development about parents who are not perfect, but good enough.. Good enough means that they respond to baby just enough for baby not to become insecure or fail to attach to parents who ignore needs, but not so over-attentive that baby doesn't become to some degree secure enough to explore the world.
So all that waffle, when I really just mean.. maybe you are right, we seem to see everything in terms of success or failure, rather than good enough..
Divisive works. Extremes work. Them/us is what it's all about and nothing else will do. Lionize your side and demonize whatever isn't. Another question to ask. Compromise is a dirty word to many. Our way or the highway. If you aren't with us you're against us. Mediocre is out. No wishy washy indecisive. CHOOSE or get the he** out! SIGH. Thank you for your reply Addb.
