What's the point of DEADLINES if there are no consequences/punishment for not meeting them?

Ignorant incompetence ineptness and indifference is key to blowing a deadline. Who goes to jail for it ? Who gets fined for it? If the missed deadline is simply extended who is kidding whom? A toothless tiger is not  frightening nor a deterrent. The inept indifferent ignorant gubment MISSED THE DEADLINE. Of course it did. It has no intention or plan for putting together what it ripped apart. Caught in the act dead to rights. So what happens when they DON'T reunite because they CAN'T reunite because they don't have a clue which kid belongs to who(m)? Punt?

    That may sound harsh, but I guarantee he would spit on my corpse if he thought it would spite his enemies or make him an extra buck.  He is vile and pernicious.

    I wouldn't go that far Sharon. However a stroke that would render him speechless and unable to tweet? That could work very well. No more words. No more tweets. He would sit there in his wheelchair and watch/hear the world go by day after day after day after day after day. Could he still be prez? I dunno.  FDR was paralyzed but his brain functioned very well He spoke well. It is just a thought. I don't dwell on it but to be truthfully honest it does cross my mind from time to time. "Will this be the day he is silenced"? Thank you for your reply and the graphic. I wonder why the stockmarket hasn't taken a steep dive though? Do investors like the unknown? I mean if it "jigglged down" to  10,000 think anyone would give a rat's a**?
