I don't know if MY dentist is bad at reading body language, or just ignores it.
You know - when you're in the chair, can't talk due to a mouthful of tools, and are in pain.

Of course, ever since watching Little Shop of Horrors, I've had suspicions about ALL dentists' motives.

I never saw that movie Walt. Years ago I did have a friend who was my dentist and he also sometimes used hypnotism to help his patients be less afraid or to lose weight or to stop smoking. But all the dentists I've ever had never mentioned being great at reading body language. The subject never came up. Thank you for your reply and the video. I know that movie has become a cult movie. Is it something I should watch if I get a chance?

If you like Steve Martin and Rick Moranis ... you should see it.
Or if you like corny musicals.

Totally illogical... a patient of a dentist has very little opportunity to express body language.. lying down, unable to move.. mouth wide open.. hard to be that expressive.

I WAS impressed with one thing about the Republicans in the House who were very attack doggy during the grilling of Strzok! They all sounded  nuts. Crazy. Loony tooney. Wacko! Gomert and Gowdy and Jordan et al were frenzied and rabid. You could see the foam on their lips and the wild-eyed gaze and the barking barking barking barking barking. They are very noisy when rabid. I thought that comment about reading body language was particularly odd and out of place and totally irrelevant. Stupid dumb comes to mind. How could so many stupid dumbs be elected to anything? I don't get it. The Republicans in the House have a lock on stupid dumb. Thank you for your reply Addb!  :) This post was edited by RosieG at July 14, 2018 3:41 AM MDT

I truly will never get, as long as I live, why people there seem to think that utterly abhorrent, indecent and totally childish behaviour is considered acceptable..

They are scared to do otherwise. There isn't a spine among them collectively. Spineless jellyfish sycophantic toadies afraid of their own shadows. A sad lot. Too bad we can't wish them away to a cornfield as a young boy did years ago in a Twilight Zone episode. He could read minds and if you were thinking "bad thoughts" you got banished to the cornfield which was never seen on screen. It was left to your imagination as to what horrors awaited those who were dispatched there. Thank you for your reply Addb!  :)
