The sun will come up tomorrow. Tomorrow never comes. Tomorrow is another day. Your favorite tomorrow?

OR

Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow creeps in this petty pace from day to day. I will begin the diet tomorrow.

If tomorrow never comes that means we can never experience it. Today we talk about tomorrow and yet when it arrives it is magically today. It is elusive and mercurial and mysterious and like quicksilver. You can never grasp it. It is a tease that never delivers.

  • Tomorrow always comes even though no one is guaranteed a tomorrow. Trying to see tomorrow is like looking through a veil or through a glass darkly. It is as you say, mercurial and mysterious. But then, life needs some impenetrable mysteries held beyond our reach. A prudent person may plan for tomorrow, but the wise know that it can be an exercise in futility. Some live like there's no tomorrow, while others live as if they have a limitless number of tomorrows. Having a grasp on tomorrow is like herding cats, it's next to impossible.
