Poetry speaks from the heart to the heart as nothing else can. Are you a fan? Why?

Yes I am a fan.  

When I was younger, I disliked poetry, and groaned through required poetry units in English class. Now that I'm older, I've come to appreciate poetry for its ability to convey powerful impressions or truths succinctly...

I like it because i write. I dont follow rules of poetry necessarily.
