Her new movie, "Hear Ny Voice" seems like such a waste of her talent. I haven't seen it, but I know what it's about. With so many English films that are all about the same---during Victorian times, I think I could write one.
I've never tried writing a play and feel a long way off ready to try that challenge. It's unlikely I'd ever be remotely good enough.
For someone like Streep, I'm surprised she'd say yes to a script that doesn't do justice to her talent. Maybe there was some other reason - to please a friend, or as a fundraiser - who knows.
I think she keeps getting better as an actress and deserves the best writers.

No thanks, she's beyond communism and I'm not that way, could never be as communist as her. I couldn't do it, and wouldn't, she should be shot as a traitor communist.
