Ever continue using something long-past the "best by" date or "use by" date? If so what happened?

    Better to go by your nose, although quality can deteriorate over time. 

    Currently scoffing the wife's Easter egg as she is very fussy about sell by dates. I'll let you know if I live to tell the tale.

    I've heard that those dates usually indicate "best" by date but when they say "SELL BY" or "USE BY" I pay attention. I'd rather throw away "good" food than take a chance with our health. Thank you for your reply Malizz! :) This post was edited by RosieG at July 30, 2018 5:34 AM MDT
