  • Alex Jones wouldn't know truth if it slapped him in the face with a novelty finger. That said, I don't agree with censoring his online content.

Content platforms should be as neutral as possible, eliminating only illegal activity (such as death threats or child pornography). Otherwise I believe they should allow just about anything. People will determine for themselves what is BS and what is not.  This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at August 7, 2018 3:00 PM MDT

I'd like to see this site allow "just about anything" as well.

But I am comforted by the assumption that at least the band will be playing as the ship of state sinks.

One has nothing to do with the other.

Jones has the same right of free expression as anyone else, and that’s all.
YouTube must’ve concluded he’s at least not a terrorist.

Actually it was a copyright violation allegation that Jones was cleared of.

YouTube set the bar higher than I’d expected.
That said, censorship is never the answer.

I agree on censorship (which may, come to think of it, be why I have an occasional philosophical issue with the terms of service on here); but since "the future of mankind is determined by the poverty of the human mind and the fertility of the human body," I wish those who listen to someone like him would have to be screened for reasoning ability prior to reading/hearing what he has to say.

    :)

You’ve hit on something, Tom. Heheheh...

Jones’ audience deserves him; and he, them.
Call it self-screening. Reason is wasted on those who can’t identify it.  This post was edited by Don Barzini at August 6, 2018 9:24 PM MDT
