I remember reading about some woman who was very involved in African American organizations and had passed for being a woman of color for years. Come to find out she wasn't. She was a white girl who identified with African Americans. I don't remember her name and I think lots of folks had mixed feelings about her. I mean who wants to be lied to about anything? I also remember a white person who passed for black and wrote a book about it..."Black like me" I think was the title. But generally speaking being white is a delight and no one would hide it, right?
